Freaky Weather

Does anyone have Big Al's phone number? I want to give him a call and tell him what I think of his GLOBAL WARMING theory!! :) Maybe he needs to look at the weather we have been having in the U.S the past week or so and rethink it.

What do you all think of this crazy weather? We arrived home from Florida Sunday evening to freezing temperatures, after having 82-83 temps last week. It was beautiful!! Sorry! don't mean to brag. =) I think it was fairly warm here for part of the time we were gone. I have plenty of pictures to follow in later posts of the trip. We had alot of fun.

On Monday, we got a call from our friends at Integrity Pools and Spas, wanting to come open our pool. They said if they didn't do it now it would be awhile before they could get us in, as they are getting really busy. If you know me, you know how much I love warm weather and spending time by the pool or beach so I said sure, go ahead, that way we won't have to wait later when the temps warm back up. So all week we have had this crystal clear pool sitting there , tempting me to just jump in, except for the one small fact that there are small ICEBERGS floating in the water!! OK, so there's no ice yet, but I wouldn't be suprised if I turned off the pump and let the water stop circulating. I have thought about starting a local chapter of the Polar Bear Club-except my heart would probably stop, and no one else in my family knows CPR. Any takers out there who would like to join me??? If not I guess I will keep looking out the window longingly waiting for some warm, Summer days! or fork over some money and buy a pool heater. Tempting!!

What's wrong with this Picture? Could it be the falling snow in April???

The water temp is a balmy 48 degrees. The other freaky thing going on in Milbourn land is with our lawn. It's fluorescent green in some areas.--almost as if a martian has landed and rolled around in certain parts.

At first I thought it was just the spots where our dog goes out to do her duty, but usually when she does this the grass just gets really tall and stays a dark green. There's too many areas that are too large for it to just be her alone-unless she's inviting her friends over when we're not here. Oh well, another unsolved mystery--let me know if you have any ideas.

Well that's all I got right now. My Non-complaining proofreader will probably tell me this post is just a bunch of complaining!!

It's not though, I'm just making some observations on life!!
